About

I am a 25-year old male living in the Toronto area, currently working a typical salaryman’s cubicle job at an office building downtown.  I graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Forensic Science, and even though I have since given up attempts at pursuing forensics at a professional level, I keep myself sharp, particularly with the CSI Miami puns. At the same time, I have a passion for writing, which explains why I finally gotten into blogging about anime, as it marries my passion for anime and my passion for writing together.

I am also an aspiring novelist, who started off writing Naruto fanfiction high school, and graduating onto more original works, even participating in National Novel Writing Month multiple years.  My tastes in anime are as varied as they come.  I have enjoyed anime that have come from a wide range of genres varying from Slice of Life, to Action, to Psychological, to Josei, to Mecha, to even Yaoi and Yuri.

I am currently watching shows from current seasons, as well as re-watching shows for inspiration for my current novel project, which can be explained as a mashup between Samurai Champloo and Steamboy.

If you wish to contact me, you can talk to me via twitter @krizzlybear, as well as Formspring under the same name. I can also be reached by e-mail using the same name AT gmail DOT com.

  1. Glad to see a fellow anime fan :)) Reading from this, I’m surprised we shared writing roots in Naruto fanfiction. Hope to read more from you soon.

Also, would you like to swap links? I got a blogspot account where I post reviews on fanworks – from fanfics to doujins and occasionally one-shot mangas – and I’m looking for interested readers. Would you like to?
